which--though obviously not meant as such--was as lovely a birthday present as i thought i could have expected this year.

I gotta broken HIP aha aha I gotta broken HIP!
The entire The Eraser album was the most played in my mp3 player until, the damn thing started malfunctioning .
jp: sorry to hear about your hip. it wasn't me, i swear it.
i'm afraid i've had a middle finger only half unintentionally raised at the so-called 'hipster' movement all along: i actually like music. some of what i like at the moment just happens to fit in with their alleged aesthete.
df: sad to hear it. console yourself with the fact that, while we haven't yet found any one form of storage that will permanently preserve all the beautiful ruckus we make--the promise of the Everlasting Compact Disc has long gone the way of most any promise, and the grand old interweb will no doubt find a way to lose the treasures we decide to keep in it eventually--the music is, for better or worse, out there.
