in memory of an old friend from my pre-blogger days, Jonesy the Cat, and in response to the passing of a friend's feline companion, Tuna, i've started an on-line investigation.
tell your friends. spread the word. send in accounts of your own experiences. i'd greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer.
this is, fyi, a search for truth, and nothing more. whatever the consequences of that search will be revealed as the investigation progresses.
and just so we're clear, no, i have no idea what i may be getting into.

Meself, I figure it's fellow cats. My gf has three cats and they're always fighting. Unfortunately, they live at the 12th floor of an apartment and one of them, a persian named Mrs Tamtam, always liked to hang on the window edge. Now she's missing.
So my question is: did she jump or was she pushed?
so i can't talk about my fantasies involving the cat in the hat? damnit.
bc: i have no idea what sort of conclusions my investigation will turn up. certainly, a percentage of cases will be the result of cat warfare, but i'd like to elucidate that as well.
cats, as far as i know, rarely have suicidal tendencies. hopefully, we'll learn more with time.
