to let those who need to know i'll be flying off to Beijing in a few hours. about twelve of them by the little numbers on the lower right corner of my screen, in fact.
we might see the Wall if we have time, and we will almost definitely have one of their famous duck dinners courtesy of our publisher, but mostly it will be work. of the kind you can, ostensibly, actually make a living out of.
as a preemptive measure, i've posted this brief album (which happens to be album no. 7) over at the currently endangered multiply site.
apologies to those who've been frequenting zen for freebie mp3 downloads. i'm afraid now you'll have to go see the pictures, or not come visit at all. i won't hold it against you. honest.
meanwhile, i've opened (but not started) another blog. mainly so i can bother perfectly respectable people like Mr Harrison with useless comments.
and for those who don't already know: yes the latest issues of the Digest of Philippine Genre Stories and Story Philippines are out, and yes i have stories in them. believe me, i've seen them with my own eyes.
but don't trust what they say 'about the author'. not a word of it. even if some of them did come from me.
right...
